Glastonbury Mental Health Network
Glastonbury Mental Health Network (GMHN) is a charity that aims to connect local people with projects, practitioners, services and events that can support and improve mental health and wellbeing. The charity also delivers projects and services, including local community/safe spaces and training courses.
GMHN runs two weekly ‘Snug’ events, on Tuesdays (3-6pm, Avalon Community Centre, King Street, BA6 9JY) and Thursdays (12-4pm, The Red Brick Building, BA6 9FT). These are safe spaces, open to all, with creative activities available, gentle music, free refreshments/soup and volunteer listeners. The Thursday Snug incorporates an artist-led activity such as working with clay, collaging, needle felting and art journalling. The Snug events are free, but donations are welcome. Please visit the website (see link below) or Facebook page (facebook.com/glastonburymentalhealth) for further information.
