Paladin: Support for victims of stalking

Paladin has a team of Caseworkers that will ensure that high risk victims of stalking are supported and that a coordinated community response is developed locally to keep victims and their children safe.

Their phone line is open 9am to 3pm weekdays except for Wednesdays when it is open 10am to 5pm. Provides support to people who have experienced rape or any kind of sexual assault or abuse at any time in their lives.  Services are online or via email or telephone. Helpline numbers are open at the following times: Monday & Friday : 11am – 2pm, Tues, Weds & Thurs:     6pm – 8pm

Somerset Domestic Abuse Freefone Support Line

To talk to someone about domestic abuse contact the helpline on 0800 69 49 999.  Opening Hours are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday/Sunday. Outside of these hours the line is automatically redirected to the National 24hr Domestic Abuse helpline. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please always call the Police on 999.

Somerset integrated domestic abuse service: Drop-in session – Frome

Drop-in sessions. Come along to speak to a qualified domestic abuse worker who are able to provide free and confidential advice on issues you may be struggling with as a result of domestic abuse and we can offer support for ongoing situations involving domestic abuse. We offer advice on a range of topics including: housing, safety planning and children services

10am-1pm every 3rd Thursday of every month at Frome Library, Justice Lane, Frome BA11 1BE

Stand against Racism and Hate Crime

SARI has over 25 years of experience in helping victims of hate crime. Most SARI staff have direct experience of dealing with hate motivated behaviour, and all staff have a clear understanding of it and commitment to stopping it. Staff are trained and experienced, and will work to the best of their ability to get the right outcome.

SARI welcomes referrals either directly from the person suffering hate crime or by a third party. You can make a submission online or download a referral form to return to us by post. Alternatively, you can also call us to make a referral over the phone.

The Nelson Trust – women’s community services

The Nelson Trust Support people with multiple and complex needs whose lives have been impacted by addiction or are in contact with the criminal justice system.

They accept referrals from any professional or women may refer themselves. Every woman is offered a detailed individual assessment of their needs across “pathways” such as mental health, family and relationships, addiction issues, domestic abuse. Each client has their own Keyworker who works with them to co-create a support plan to address their needs.

Thinkuknow is the educational programme from the National Crime Agency, a UK organisation which protects children both online and offline from sexual abuse.  The website has age appropriate pathways, including one for adults with advice about staying safe online.
