Diabetes UK – 100 Things I wish I’d known

Diabetes UK has produced this e book that you can get by filling in the online application, The book is full of tips written by people living with diabetes, for people living with diabetes. Covering everything from going on holiday to eating out, working out and managing diabetes with work, relationships and more, it’s packed full of useful tips and handy hints for every part of life with diabetes. Diabetes UK online course – Type 2 Diabetes and Me

Type 2 Diabetes and Me is an interactive online course to help people with Type 2 diabetes understand and manage their condition successfully. It was developed by Diabetes UK, in partnership with Bupa. See link below or you can go to the Diabetes UK website and search for Type 2 Diabetes and Me.

Healthier You – NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme

If you are at high risk of type 2 diabetes, you may be eligible for the free NHS Healthier You service, which will help you to eat more healthily, lose weight and get more physically active.

If you have a score greater than 16 you can self refer to the NHS Diabetes Prevention Program here. https://preventing-diabetes.co.uk/know-your-risk-dtc/
