Healthy Weight – general resources and options

There are lots of things that can have an impact on being a healthy weight. As well as eating more healthily, you might want to look at other things such as improving your sleep, relaxing more, moving more, counselling services and reducing alcohol intake. You may want to get support online, in person, by yourself or in a group. There are lots of ways to get started. If you want help working out the best option for you, please contact Health Connections Mendip and we can book you a consultation with a Health Connector. Below are a few options:

You can have a look at the NHS Better Health website which has details of the free 12-week NHS Weight Loss Plan and offers discounts on well known national healthy eating plans and groups, including Slimming World, GetSlim, The Body Coach app, Weight Watchers, Second Nature and Healthier for Life. You do not need a GP referral – just visit the Better Health website herehttps://www.nhs.uk/better-health/lose-weight/
