Bath Centre for Fatigue Services
We provide specialist services for adults experiencing longstanding fatigue that is having a significant impact on daily functioning and activities. There are three strands to our Service which provide fatigue and lifestyle management for viral fatigue/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME; cancer related fatigue living with and beyond cancer and long term conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis. Bath Outpatient Fibromyalgia Self Management Programme (FSMP)
An outpatient hospital-based interactive exercise and education group programme aimed at encouraging self-management of FMS. Please note you must have a clinical diagnosis of fibromyalgia. For referral advice please contact Julie Russell or Sandi Derham. This service accepts only GP referrals. We offer support in following evidence-based self-management strategies to manage fatigue and other symptoms of CFS/ME. We occasionally run support sessions for carers/supporters. Most people who attend this service have noticed that their symptoms and confidence in managing their condition improves.

Escape pain – online programme
The ESCAPE-pain programme aims to increase physical function and improve quality of life.
ESCAPE-pain Online is freely available to anyone but is aimed specifically at people who have knee or hip osteoarthritis. It was designed to support people who have attended the face-to-face ESCAPE-pain programme to continue to exercise after the programme has ended. It is also useful for people who don’t live near a face-to-face class.
ESCAPE-pain Online provide users with a structured education and exercise programme of 12 sessions over six weeks. There are two compulsory sessions per week and they are a combination of education and exercise.

Harry’s Hydro
Harry’s Hydro is a hydrotherapy pool based in Frome.
Individual led sessions are available. Other people will be in the pool at the same time doing their own exercises. Cost per session is £9 for an initial session then £90 for ten sessions to be paid in advance if wishing to continue.
You can also join hydrotherapy group exercise classes. A taster session costs £10. Future sessions need to be booked in groups of 10 and paid for in advance.

Mendip Fibromyalgia Support Group – Binegar & Street
We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at Binegar Memorial Hall, Binegar, BA3 4UR from 10.30am – 12.30pm, and on the 3rd Monday of the month at Crispin Community Cenre, 4 Leigh Road, Street, BA16 0HA from 3.30-4.30pm.

NRAS HealthUnlocked is an online community set up for those with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) wanting to learn more about their condition and connect with others who are going through a similar experience. It is a safe community moderated by NRAS, wherein you can ask questions, exchange tips and advice, find support and discuss all things RA.

Versus Arthritis- Arthritis Helpline
Free phoneline for people with arthritis and those around them with up-to-date information, advice and support. Lines open Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Calls are free from UK landline and consumer mobile phones. Online recourse and links to local groups are available through their website. Face to face groups are not currently running.
