Relaxed, friendly book club for young adults in Frome. All are welcome, share an enjoyment of books with others of your age. Meet the third Thursday of the month at 7pm at Bridge Café, 43 Selwood Road, Frome. For £3.50 you get a brand new proof book, a cookie and a can of drink.

BANDs – Frome
BANDs (Bath Autism and NeuroDiversity spectrums) CIC offer social opportunities and peer support to over 16s in Frome and the surrounding areas who have autism, Asperger syndrome and/or similar neurodiversities.
They currently organise a cinema, cafe and pub group which run consecutively monthly on a Thursday (attendees pay for their own cinema tickets and drinks).

Edventure offer the MAKE shed and courses to young adults aged 18-35 whether you are out of work, looking for a new direction or just want to gain confidence.
The phone line is answered between 9am – 1pm Monday to Friday.

Focus Frome-Young Persons Wellbeing Drop In
Focus Frome are doing a weekly drop in for young people aged 13-19 who maybe feeling anxious, overwhelmed or struggling with their mental health. This will be a confidential space where young people can access professional support from qualified and trainee counsellors.

Frome Youth Patient Participation Group
Frome Youth PPG is a Patient Participation Group and health forum, made up of young people from around Frome. The organisation looks at ways to improve wellbeing and health services for young people, such as working with youth clinics, talking to GPs and nurses, as well as training to become Community Connectors.
The Frome Youth PPG presents a great opportunity for any young person, aged 19 years or under, interested in health, medicine and/or promoting the youth voice. The forum meets every four to six weeks on a weekday afternoon.

Kooth.com is a free, safe, confidential and non-stigmatised way for young people to receive counselling, advice and support on-line. Kooth delivers thousands of counselling sessions each year to young people aged 11-18. Available until 10pm each night, 365 days per year.

MAKE:SHED provides a regular open workshop space for people aged 18-35 to work on practical and creative projects, individually or with others. We meet on Thursdays, 6-9 pm in the Remakery at the Welsh Mill Hub. You’ll get to use tools and equipment, learn, share and develop skills, meet new people and have support to sell what you make. Open Story Tellers, Wellbeing Group – Frome
Brand new to OpenStoryTellers, we are excited to offer a Wellbeing Group for people with learning disabilities and autism aged 18+
It’s taking place on Tuesday mornings from 10am – 12 noon.
The group will be exploring healthy eating, gentle exercise, yoga, aromatherapy, creative writing and more!

Reaching Out – Frome Tennis Club
Frome Tennis Club are providing free coaching and free membership for juniors of age 4 to 18 from low-income families, and for adopted children.
If you are a parent or guardian that qualifies (or is likely to qualify on your child starting school) for Pupil Premium funding, then you are likely to be eligible for the scheme. You can get in touch via the email address below.

Every Thursday 2pm-5pm at the Welsh Mill Hub, Park Hill Drive, Frome, BA11 2LE
Routes sessions are open to everyone aged 18-35 for support with a whole range of issues from housing, to relationships, jobs to emotional health. Pop in for a cuppa and a chat – we can work together to find solutions to any issues you’re experiencing. Wifi and phone available.

SWISH offer free confidential testing and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, and offer a full range of contraception. Open to all ages including under 16s. The Pod – Frome
The Pod is a local charity supporting individuals with additional needs. The charity creates opportunities and provides safe, supportive, sociable, and enterprising spaces that improve the quality of life for young carers as well as children and adults with disabilities and their families.

The YMCA welcome young people aged 10 to 19 years to catch up, have fun and support each other. Young people can drop in as and when. YOU-TH SPACE counselling for 15-18 year olds – Frome
You-th Space is an affordable and friendly counselling service in Frome and the Mendips for 15 to 18 year olds who are facing common issues such as anxiety, depression, feelings of loneliness or isolation, or just feeling different to others.
As a charity, the service relies on the generosity of people’s donations. Those who can afford to are asked to contribute to the costs of the counselling. However, the service is offered free of charge to those who need it.
Young people in need of support can self-refer to You-th Space, or can ask their parents or school to contact the service via the website.
