SMART recovery support group – Frome
SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) recovery are running a support group between 1-3pm on Mondays, starting on the 13 May at Frome Medical Practice
SMART is a programme that provides training and tools for people who want to change their problematic behavior, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, food, shopping, Internet and others.Guided by trained facilitators, participants come to help themselves and help each other using a variety of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and motivational tools and techniques. SWEDA run a monthly self-help group on the first Wednesday of every month from 7-8:30 p.m. This group is open to anyone suffering from an eating disorder or anyone supporting someone with an eating disorder. The monthly meetings are held in our comfortable meeting room at The Coach House, Harvest Court, Park Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BS
OA is not just about weight loss, gain or maintenance; or obesity or diets. It addresses physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is not a religious organisation and does not promote any particular diet. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions. See website for details of local groups.
