Citizen’s Advice Somerset
Citizen’s Advice provide free, confidential and impartial advice. This means that you can be sure our advice is independent of any undue or commercial influence. They are trained and qualified to provide advice on many issues including: Welfare benefits (including Universal Credit), Employment, Housing, Debt & money advice, Relationships matters, Discrimination, Access to help with food or fuel vouchers for those facing crisis due to financial hardship.
Clients who are deaf or hard of hearing can call the Relay UK Text service using prefix 18001 and then dialling 0808 27 87842
Currently in Mendip, there are four drop-in services available:
Street, Crispin Centre, 4 Leigh Road, Street BA16 0HA: Wednesdays, 10am – 1pm
Glastonbury Library, The Archers Way, Glastonbury BA6 9JB: Thursdays, 10am – 1pm
Frome, Town Hall, Christchurch Street West BA11 1EB: Mondays, 10am – 2pm
Shepton Mallet, Highfield House, Park Road BA4 5BT: Wednesdays, 10am – 2pm
