Digital Connectors
Digital Connector training is designed to help everyone in Mendip be better equipped to signpost friends, family, and neighbours to digital support in their community.
This short, one hour training session highlights what is available in the community that can help people become digitally included. For those struggling to understand the digital world it can be frustrating and frightening. Becoming a digital connector is not about becoming a volunteer but it helps you to become someone in the community who know how to effectively signpost friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues to the relevant support.
You’ll also find out information about local free Wi-Fi points, local computer courses and occasionally Health Connections are able to access free data and devices to those in need.
If you live in Mendip, you can book on to the next training via Eventbrite or call the Health Connections team in your area, if you prefer to book by phone. We can also do shorter sessions and adapt them to your needs. We may also be able to offer bespoke training in your place of work or community space.
