Planning Ahead Connector

We like to plan ahead for lots of things in life but what have we put in place for the end of life? Spending time thinking about what is important to us now and what might be important to us towards the end of life is good for us all, no matter what stage of life we are at. We can then make our wishes and preferences known to our loved ones. This can re-assure us that those close to us know our preferences and reassure those around us, that they know our wishes.

We are currently developing a short 1 hour sessions around this topic.

Workshop: Planning for Future Care and End-of-Life Needs

Thursday 12th December  3pm-4.30pm at Frome Medical Practice (Boardroom)
Free to attend for Frome Medical Practice Patients

We plan ahead for holidays, birthdays and new jobs, but often we don’t plan for our future care and our end-of-life preferences. We invite you to a free introductory session with Julia di Castiglione and Dr Helen Kingston where we will be raising awareness of planning your future care and exploring topics such as creating a will and lasting power of attorney.

Julia’s extensive experience and empathetic approach will help you navigate these sensitive topics with confidence. Her practical information will empower you to take proactive steps to plan ahead.
Dr. Kingston emphasises the importance of planning. “Planning for future care and end-of-life needs is a gift to yourself and your loved ones,” she says. “It removes uncertainty and ensures that your preferences are known, providing peace of mind for all involved.”
This workshop is for anybody and everybody looking to start planning whether for yourself of for a loved one.
