Community fridge organised by charity Love Glastonbury. Situated at Town Hall, Magdalene Street, Glastonbury. Open daily 9-5 pm. Help yourself to food, there is no charge.
Love Glastonbury also runs a free community pantry with a wide range of food items and toiletries, based in the Abbey Mews, 56-58 High Street. The pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-3 pm and Saturdays 1-5
The Good Heart Cafe are hosting a series of ‘Dying Matters’ evenings to listen, connect and share personal experiences around dying, grief and loss. These evenings will be held the second Thursday of every month. Hosted by Neil Croom and The Good Heart team, we will be creating a safe and welcoming space to share and listen to each others’ experiences of grief in all its forms. Providing volunteer support and volunteering opportunities, local information, networking and sharing the latest guidelines on Covid-19. The Network can help people with small shops, picking up prescriptions or errands to support those who are unable to go out.
The website is one-stop-platform of information, including local support organisations and businesses. People can make requests for support via the website, and donations can also be made to support the work of the Network.

Spark iT Helpdesk is a free telephone and online service open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, to support digitally excluded individuals to use IT equipment. Spark iT are also recruits Digital Champions Volunteers to offer IT support in the local community.
Spark Somerset support and champion Somerset’s voluntary and community organisations to help change lives and build healthy, resilient communities. They share information, advice, training, and support to charities and community groups, sharing our expertise, building partnerships, promoting volunteering and advocating on the sector’s behalf.

Every Warm Welcome space has something different to offer; some may be able to provide free food, activities, support with your wellbeing, or even somewhere to charge your phone or use a computer.
Formed as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Wells Community Network CIC (WCN) is a co-ordinated network of volunteers and organisations that work together to support the local community.
Volunteers engage in an enormous variety of tasks, from supporting partner organisations, to day-to-day errands, a friendly chat, shopping, collecting prescriptions and dog-walking.
Anyone from the community is welcome to get involved and join in the teams that are most suited to their skills and interests.
The Network operates a helpline from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with a team of friendly volunteers who are always happy to help.
